Save the Date

Who: anyone who likes bikes

What: 200k of gravel

When: Saturday, April 7, 2012

Where: Columbia, Missouri

Why: Bragging rights and the Boone County Intercontinental Championship belt.

Ride southern Boone County's most scenic and challenging gravel roads along the Missouri River and traversing Hart Creek Conservation Area and Mark Twain National Forest.

This is a 100% self-navigated, self-supported event. Participate to contend for the Boone County Intercontinental Championship Belt or to enjoy the adventure of riding some of Missouri's finest gravel roads.

We will use course markings already in place, mainly street signs. Maps/cue sheets will be posted once the final route has been selected. This is not a closed course, which means you may encounter traffic on some sections of the course. Exercise caution when crossing intersections!

The check points/aid stations will be gas stations in towns along the route. There will be no time limits at the checkpoints. Computers and lighting systems are highly recommended.

Please keep in mind that participants are solely responsible for their personal well-being. If you break down or become injured, it is YOUR responsibility to contact your support crew to come get you. DO NOT CALL US. WE WILL NOT COME RESCUE YOU. EVENT PROMOTERS AND SPONSORS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR SAFETY AND WELL-BEING.
